Purple K (potassium bicarbonate) is significantly more effective on Class B flammable liquid fires than standard ABC dry chemical — independently documented to deliver roughly twice the fire-suppression performance per pound on fuel fires. The preferred agent for oil, gas, chemical, and utilities industries wherever fast knockdown of flammable liquid or pressurized gas fires is critical.
