High-flow stored-pressure extinguishers designed to comply with NFPA 10, Section 5.5, which mandates a discharge rate of 1 lb/sec or greater for pressurized flammable liquid and gas hazards — a threshold standard models cannot meet.
Operating pressure: 240 psi. Shell hydrotested to 720 psi. Discharge rate: 1.19–1.30 lb/sec depending on model. Available in 10 lb and 20 lb capacities, in FORAY (Class A/B/C) or Purple-K (Class B/C) agents. USCG approved with proper bracket. Corrosion Resistant (CR) models available.
Typical applications: propane filling and storage, fuel stations, construction sites, hazardous material cabinets, small paint booths, marinas and marine terminals, salvage and recycling facilities, warehouse and storage.
